ABOUT

Anton Nyberg is a scriptwriter. He has worked many of with Sweden’s most prominent companies and in the spring of 2022 he has developed and then authored two Tv-series for Viaplay. Anton also develops projects with SF Studios and Jarowskij. Together with producer Niklas Larsson at SF Studios (Red Dot, Nelly Rapp, etc.), Anton is a part of the internationally renowned film program EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) in 2022.

Anton was the lead author on SVT's hit series Eagles during seasons one and two. The series became a huge success in the Young Adult genre (YA). The Eagles competed in the best youth drama at the Venice TV awards. Anton is now investing in reforming the YA genre with another project in development with a larger production company.

In 2018, Anton graduated with a bachelor's degree in film script from Stockholm University School of Drama. Dark and fast paced humor, characters with elaborate features and clever script writing, characterize what he himself watches and writes. "The devil is in the details" is a favorite expression when Anton constructs characters, nothing is too small to be forgotten. He finds all genres interesting to dive into and write about. Anton is much appreciated member in writer’s rooms. He is known for quick delivery with high quality, at the same time Anton is a good listener and does not shy away from being analytical.

In 2022, Anton's debut book "The wild escape from the employment service" will be released by Lava publishing.
